Learnly Labs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the FluentPro mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
By using FluentPro, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
- Profile Information: Your display name and professional role as entered in the App.
- Support Tickets: Subject, message content, and category when you contact our support team through the App.
- Legal Acceptance Records: Records of your acceptance of our legal documents, including document type, version, and timestamp.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Learning Progress: Completed lessons, quiz scores, streak data, daily activity minutes, and spaced repetition review history.
- App Preferences: Theme mode, notification preferences, daily reminder time, learning goals, and bookmarked content.
- Device Information: Device platform (iOS or Android) for push notification delivery.
- Push Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens for delivering notifications.
- Usage Data: Weekly learning statistics including lessons completed, quizzes passed, and minutes spent learning.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect precise geolocation data.
- We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or files.
- We do not collect financial or payment card information directly. All payment processing is handled by Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Service: Deliver learning content, track your progress, maintain streaks, and personalize your experience.
- Sync Across Devices: Synchronize your learning progress, settings, goals, and streak data across multiple devices.
- Send Notifications: Deliver daily reminders, streak alerts, new content notifications, and weekly summaries based on your preferences.
- Process Subscriptions: Verify your subscription status and entitlements through RevenueCat.
- Provide Support: Respond to your support tickets and resolve issues.
- Improve the App: Understand usage patterns to improve content and features.
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Local Storage
The App stores data locally on your device using encrypted Hive databases, including:
- Learning progress and quiz scores
- Bookmarks and goals
- App settings and preferences
- Cached content for offline access
3.2 Server Storage
Your data is synced to our servers hosted on Railway, with the database on Neon PostgreSQL. Data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
3.3 Authentication
We use Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in. Your password is never stored by us — authentication is handled entirely by Google's identity services.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:
- Firebase (Google): For authentication and push notification delivery.
- RevenueCat: For subscription management and payment verification.
- Service Providers: Our hosting providers (Railway, Neon, Cloudflare) process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or security issues.
5. Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
- Learning Progress: Retained as long as your account is active to enable cross-device sync.
- Support Tickets: Retained for up to 2 years after resolution for quality assurance purposes.
- Push Tokens: Deleted when you unregister or sign out.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access Your Data: View your profile and learning data within the App.
- Update Your Information: Edit your profile name and role at any time.
- Control Notifications: Enable or disable specific notification categories (daily reminders, streak alerts, new content, weekly summaries) in the App settings.
- Delete Your Account: Request account deletion through the App's profile settings. This permanently deletes all your data from our servers.
- Reactivate Your Account: If your account was recently deactivated, you may reactivate it by signing in again.
- Export Your Data: Request a copy of your data by contacting support.
7. Children's Privacy
FluentPro is designed for professional adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If we discover that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the App and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
